Realme C3 Review

Chinese smartphone brand, Realme continues to bring a whole range of smartphones in the Indian market, with the latest introduction being Realme C3. It is the successor to Realme 5i and comes with significant hardware and software upgrades compared to Realme C2. Going by the first look, the smartphone packs in quite a punch within the price range of around Rs.7000 to Rs.8000.

However, to determine whether it manages to impart value for money, let us look at how it fares against the following parameters –

Performance

This model of Realme scores high in this aspect. Realme C3 runs smoothly owing to its robust configuration when it comes to moderate usage of utility and light gaming applications. Not much lag has been detected since it is an entry-level smartphone; navigation may be a bit tardy while switching different apps. Moreover, do not expect smooth experience in case of heavy gaming applications.

Battery

It runs on 5,000mAh battery, adding greater value in the process. Given this capacity, you can easily play games for long hours and stream an entire cricket match without completely discharging it. The phone battery offers more than 43 hours of talk time and almost 21 hours of video playback. However, charging takes long due to a lack of fast charging functionality.

Interestingly, with reverse charging feature, this phone is capable of imparting a charge to your other wireless devices.

Display and design

Realme C3 fares quite well on this parameter. While it sports the regular gradient design that comes with smartphones in the specific price band, its weight is kept considerably lighter. This smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch display with screen-to-body ration of almost 90%.

There are separate trays for the microSD card and two Nano-SIMs. Apart from that, there is an audio jack of 3.5mm, Micro-USB port and a loudspeaker located in the bottom space. Moreover, the phone feels light in spite of it weighing 195 grams. It comes in two vibrant colour options – Blazing Red and Frozen Blue.

Cameras

Cameras in this phone leave much to be desired for when compared to other features. The rear camera has dual set-up, which includes 12MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie shooter, on the other hand, is 5MP.

There are few snags in the cameras that do not quite match up to the expectation. While recording a video, pictures may lack clarity. Additionally, substantial noise can further interfere with captured videos and images, especially in challenging outdoor environment.

The selfie camera does not make up for this shortcoming completely. The colours of snapshots are often hazy. If the camera is an important consideration, you may consider hiking your budget slightly.

This smartphone is available in two different models, including a 4GB+64GB variant and a 3GB+32GB variant. Its performance is enhanced with the inclusion of MediaTek Helio G70 processor. This phone can be a suitable choice for casual users, who do not indulge in gaming or other CPU-intensive activities on their phones.

Overall, Realme C3 is an ideal option for those limited by a stringent budget. The large battery capacity is this device’s main draw.

Even though this Realme mobile under 10000 is largely affordable, Bajaj Finserv EMI Network Card users have the option to consider other models with better specifications. With a pre-sanctioned limit of up to Rs.4 lakh, cardholders can afford to splurge without facing immense financial burden. Moreover, repayment can be made by easy no-cost EMIs, spread across a tenure convenient for the member.

Bajaj Finserv also extends pre-approved offers to its customers. All that one has to do is to submit name and phone number in the official portal.
